“Jared’s Vision Board”
In this activity, students create a vision board for Jared’s future goals.
At the conclusion of the novel, Jared begins to make changes to his life to improve his circumstances. Utilizing the ideas below, create a vision board for Jared to illustrate his future life goals. Include a key for the images to explain how each image is supported by your analysis of the novel. Use the questions below to guide your thinking.
- Include at least 5 images to illustrate future life goals for Jared.
- What are some of the immediate goals Jared would like to accomplish? What is Jared working toward at the conclusion of the novel?
- What are some family goals Jared would like to accomplish?
- What relational goals might Jared have outside of his immediate family?
- What financial goals might Jared have?
- What educational goals might Jared have?
- What magical goals might Jared have?
